Levi's Apparel Line Collaboration

Denim brand Levi's has launched a collection of garments featuring illustrations from renowned artist Rick Griffin for its fall/winter 2014 lines in selected Levi's stores and online.

Designers from the denim label worked together with the late illustrators family to select pieces of Griffin's illustrations for the collection. For menswear there will be t-shirts and sweaters available bearing the artist's motifs and for womenswear t-shirts, a truckers vest and a pair of shorts.

The departed illustrator's artwork is known for its combination of tough and impish designs, which are rooted in the Californian surf and skate wear scene. His artwork has been used in a variety of mediums, ranging from an album cover for The Grateful dead to illustrations for magazines and comics.
